In October 2018, the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) launched the Regulated Air Cargo Screening Facility (the “RACSF”) scheme to enable and regulate air cargo screening at off-airport locations. To meet the increasing requirements in the international aviation security and to become a qualified RACSF, A&S has aquired and installing advanced X-ray equipment, as well as providing additional training to the screening and site security personnel. A&S has implemented advanced information technology system to streamline air cargo warehouse management process, which can improve its freight operation efficiency and considerably reduce costs of operations. The Group also installed GPS tracking system in its cargo trucks fleet to enhance the efficiency in its fleet management. Such facilities and related setup allow A&S to provide top-ranking air freight forwarding ground handling services to leading global logistics companies, many of whom rely on outsourced service providers like A&S to support their daily operations and freight forwarding agents.
